8 oz Cocoa Butter (Shea Butter can be substituted)
3 oz Castor Oil
5 oz Plam Oil
1 cup Milk (I use goat milk it's better!)
2.2 oz Lie (NaOH, Sodium Hydroxide)
Fragrance of choice.
Mix Lye with milk just like you would do the water, but do this shortly before pouring it into the oil mixture. The lye will "cook" the milk and it will have a bad smell if you mix it and let it sit for very long. Your soap will also have a yellowish tint to it due to the color that the lye turns the milk. Continue as you would for other blender soaps.
Leave in molds 24 hours
Ageing time: 3 weeks.
Color and fragrance of choice, or you can leave natural. Do not use food coloring in soaps! If you want a more luxurious bar, use 14 ounces of lard and 2 ounces of lanolin or cocoa butter.
